As prominent US lawmakers asked India to stick to a July timeline on the nuclear deal, the Bush administration has said it wants to see that the agreement ”moves forward” as soon as possible and India gets an opportunity to work out ”internal political issues”.
India is taking really long to sign the N-deal. I have been tracking the news through NDTV 24×7 since a couple of months. The Political vested interests are responsible for the slow pace of the proceedings. It’s this deal through which I have understood the real meaning of “Opposition Party”.
The senior State Department official added that the US wanted to see the agreement ”concluded as quickly as possible”.The comments came ahead of US Assistant Secretary of State Richard Boucher’s two-day visit to India from Tuesday during which the two sides are expected to review progress on implementation of the civil nuclear deal.
NDTV 24×7 is the only Indian news channel to meet global standards. DirecTV is doing a commendable job of providing NDTV 24×7 in the US through Satellite TV service. For more information visit the Squidoo Lens.
