It’s been far too long Sania Mirza has featured in my blog.
I saw the coverage on NDTV 24×7 where Indian tennis sensation Sania Mirza turned in a superb battling performance to beat World Number 18 Shahar Peer of Israel in the 3rd round of the Pacific Life Open being held at Indian Wells.
Sania, seen here beating Timea Baczinsky, in the 2nd round of the Australian Open, came back after losing the 1st set in a tie-breaker, before edging out the Israeli in a tightly-fought second set 7-5. The 3rd set was more of a one-sided affair as Sania dominated it to complete a 6-7, 7-5, 6-3.
Sania will play the winner of the game between Daniela Hantuchova and Zheng Jhie.
